Wales National Armed Forces Day 2026
Armed Forces Day is celebrated each year in a different region of Wales, bringing communities together to recognise and thank our Armed Forces. The event is delivered in partnership with local authorities, the Welsh Government, the tri-services, and a range of supporting organisations.
In 2026, Carmarthenshire will host Wales’ National Armed Forces Day on 27 June at Pembrey Country Park. This family-friendly event invites the public to show their support for the Armed Forces community.
Planned in collaboration with senior representatives from the Army, Navy, and RAF, the day will offer a packed programme of activity. Visitors can look forward to an exciting range of military displays and demonstrations
We encourage visitors to book tickets in advance to help us manage the event, but you will not be turned away if you attend on the day without a ticket.
Entry to the event is free of charge. Please note, however, that parking charges will apply at Pembrey Country Park for visitors who are not annual parking permit holders. Parking vouchers will be issued to serving members of the Armed Forces and veterans.
