Coastal Walks

Walk the Coast with a difference... Enjoy a selection of circular coastal walks in Carmarthenshire. Walk where kings walked under castle walls and stroll along sandy beaches with breath-taking views.

Carmarthenshire’s stretch of Coast is one of the most varied and attractive in the country. The walks include gorgeous views of pine forests, coastal commons, salt marshes and sand dunes.

A bracing sea breeze, the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks and the sweet smell of salt in the air are just some of the reasons to love a walk by the sea.

This selection of circular coastal walks offers golden sands, clifftop views, an abundance of wildlife and fascinating historical stories around every corner, no matter what the season.

The walks all offer a varied glimpse of Carmarthenshire’s coastal beauty. Your efforts are rewarded by incredible views, wildlife, and plenty of places to relax and refuel.
