Coastline: Two Visions

Kingstreet Gallery, 33 King Street, Carmarthen SA31 1BS.
King Street Gallery artists Yve Kelly and Ken Day have joined forces to create a collaborative exhibition for the first two weeks in September in the gallery’s Chate Room. The artists work in very different ways: Yve Kelly makes abstract paintings and Ken Day is a landscape photographer. For this exhibition they have gone to the same part of the coast on the border of Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire, and produced their own versions of the scenes. Seen side-by-side, these art works will give the viewer a unique opportunity to compare two visions by two of west Wales’ contemporary artists. Both Ken and Yve will open their exhibition on the evening of Friday 5th at 5.30pm with a talk about their collaboration for this exhibition. All are welcome.
