Every Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday between now and Saturday 18th July. Thereafter every Wednesday until the end of September. 7pm. Take a trip through Carmarthen's creepy past and meet murderers and their victims; visit the sites of grisly executions; discover dark secrets from bygone days - and find out where the ghosts walk! This award-winning walk is suitable for all ages and is given a unique magical twist, including experiments in mind-reading and ESP which you might be invited to take part in. Foster Walk Llanelli will be starting at 11am on 6 June 2015. The family friendly walk will begin at the Millennium Coastal Path in Llanelli and we’re encouraging everyone to wear orange. It is free to register, but we would love for you to raise as much money as possible. If 300 people get sponsorship of £50, we would be able to transform fostered children’s lives with the £15,000 raised. Come along, meet other foster families and help us raise funds, so that we can continue our life-changing work transforming fostered children’s lives. Register today! This event is being delivered in partnership by The Fostering Network in Wales and Carmarthenshire County Council. Llandovery Sprint Triathlon

Llandovery.
Llandovery is an ancient market town situated on the west bank of the upper reaches of the river Towy in Carmarthenshire. The name itself is an anglicised form of the welsh, Llanymddyfri, which means 'Church amongst the Waters'. The Triathlon will be a pool based event with a revised 22km ride taking you up the valley towards the village of Rhandirmwyn. You will turn in Rhandirmwyn and re-trace your path back towards Llandovery Leisure Ctr. A truly scenic bike ride which is undulating and with the 5km run to finish it will prove to be a huge favourite.

10k at 9.30am, 5k at 11am. Join us by taking part in a Race for Life event. You can run, walk or even dance your way around the course. Adult entry (16+ women-only) - £14.99. Child entry (6-15 girls and boys under 13) - £10.00. Under 6 entry (boys and girls) - free and no registration needed. This covers the cost of organising and running your event on the day. It does not contribute towards your sponsorship total, so please try and raise as much as you can to help Cancer Research UK's life-saving work. This retreat will take a personal approach to the life and work of Welsh poet Dylan Thomas through discussing our own individual interpretations of his poetry and short stories, and the feelings they evoke. We will also explore the connection between the written words and the spoken voice when interpreting Dylan’s poems. There will be an opportunity to visit nearby sites connected to Dylan Thomas such as the village of Laugharne, where he lived the last years of his life, and the local Llansteffan pub, The Castle, which he frequented. You might try some reading aloud and writing as part of this retreat, and to prepare you in advance you will receive a compendium of Dylan’s poems and short stories. You are invited for a very unique menu of Murder, Mystery and Marvellous Food. Greeted by the Mistress of the House to enjoy a sumptuous dinner, try delightful wines... But then - a bloodcurling scream... You get a chance to play detective to help uncover the culprit in this Victorian whodunit. All of this skulduggery takes place in the beautifully restored Llanelly House. A menu of fresh, locally produced dishes by Head Chef Anna Brown, will see the evening go off with a bang! You'll play the role of detective and interrogate key individuals and witnesses as you wander around the House, talking to the characters involved. From Dr Thomas the Surgeon, Mr William Chambers the owners of the house through to more lowly servants of the era.
