Grandparents’ Day
National Botanic Garden of Wales.
Grandparents, parents and children playing and learning together - loads of fun for people of all ages. Normal entrance charges apply but once inside most things are FREE. Of course you pay for food - bring a picnic - and anything you buy.

Over 60% of grandparents now care for their grandchildren on a regular basis. 'Learn with Grandma' aims to give tips on how to learn and have fun together and help those with grandchildren living a long way away to build a relationship. The day is designed so that charities, and all sorts of organisations, can tell you what they do and how they work to help children, older people and families. We grannies want the day to be really good fun - a great day out for the whole family - that will not cost a fortune.
