Learn Blacksmithing

Bend some iron at the forge, no experience necessary. Teacher Aaron Petersen is a second generation, art trained, blacksmith. The one-day course teaches basic smithing and you’ll even have two items like a hook and a poker to take home. There is a two-day course option for those how want to get more into it and learn about the types of forge, how they work, the tools and what different types of heat are used for. Painting and Prosecco

With west Wales sunsets, an artist to assist, a beautiful studio setting and Prosecco to help creativity, come and join Helen Elliott and her workshops for painting and prosecco in her Newcastle Emlyn studio. Helen is an acclaimed naïve artist who was selected to appear on Sky’s Landscape Artist of the Year competition 2017 and 2018. Willow Workshops

West Wales Willows commercially grow willow but also rove around the county offering full and half day willow basket and willow sculpture making workshops. Catch them at Dinefwr, Mydffai Community Hall and Pwerdy Powerhouse near LLandysul during July, August and September. There is also a Rope Coil Basket Making workshop at their studio in August.
