Best Foot Forward
It’s never been easier to explore the delights of Carmarthenshire on foot thanks to a colourful series of leaflets outlining some of the county’s best-loved routes.
You’ll find your favourites such as Carreg Cennen Castle, Laugharne and Dolaucothi Gold Mines but also some lesser-known routes such as Drefach Velindre, Pembrey Mountain and Cwmdu.
Each leaflet offers both the first time visitor and locals an opportunity to enjoy the unique beauty and fascination of the Carmarthenshire countryside.
The text and map covering each county walk will give you an indication of the length and difficulty of the walks as well as snippets of information on the natural history and archaeology to be enjoyed along the way.
Click on the titles below to view the Walks Leaflets. These are in PDF format and you may need to dowload the free Adobe Acrobat Reader to view them.
